Hello! I'm Brett Watz, the mind behind 121 Gigawatz. From the age of 10 when my uncle taught me how to write a batch file on MS-DOS using my V-Tech 386, I've been hooked on technology.

I've been working in IT for over 20 years, and in that time I've seen a lot of changes in the industry. I've seen good software and bad software, and too often I've seen good developers who are trapped by leaders who are more interested in profits, and forget what I call the "Ian Malcom Rule" ...

"Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should."

My goal is to create software that is both beautiful, functional, and most of all, responsible. Good software doesn't just work, it works well, and ethically.
